This role focuses on uptime, preventive maintenance, and developing a strong skilled trades organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead maintenance and repair of all production equipment to maximize uptime
- Drive Preventive Maintenance / TPM strategy and continuous reliability improvements
- Schedule maintenance to support production priorities and reduce downtime
- Oversee facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, utilities, and building maintenance
- Manage equipment installations, modifications, and capital projects
- Ensure compliance with safety, NEC, and ISO/IATF standards
- Manage contractors, service providers, and maintenance vendors
- Oversee spare parts inventory and maintenance cost control
- Track downtime, PM completion, and maintenance KPIs
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent maintenance leadership experience considered
- 6–8 years maintenance leadership in Tier 1 automotive or high-volume manufacturing
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and facility systems knowledge
- Experience with TPM, PM systems, and reliability improvements
- Proven leadership of skilled trades teams
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
