Mental Health Program Clinician Manager
Reentry & Transitional Services
We’re seeking a Licensed Mental Health Program Clinician Manager to provide clinical leadership and oversight for programs serving justice-involved adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
This role supports clinical staff through supervision and training, delivers direct client services, and partners closely with program leadership to ensure high-quality, compliant, and effective care as individuals transition from county detention facilities back into the community. There are two opportunities, either Monday-Friday 8-5pm or Tuesday -Saturday 8-5pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor registered and licensed clinical staff
- Oversee mental health, substance use, group, and supportive services
- Provide individual and group counseling, assessments, crisis intervention, and case management
- Support program operations including documentation, compliance, audits, reports, and budgeting
- Collaborate with correctional partners, community agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor licensure, certifications, and professional development
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
- Active California license: LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC
- Experience with justice-involved populations and co-occurring disorders
- Supervisory or clinical leadership experience
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish), Medi-Cal and correctional systems experience, substance use disorder certifications, valid CA driver’s license, CPR/First Aid
- Two years of experience after obtaining license; experience with individuals with mental illness and/or justice involved
Pay
- 50-57/ hour
