Job Title: IT Deployment Technician (Short-Term Project)
Assignment Type: Temporary / Project-Based

Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented IT Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale equipment rollout for the Housing Authority. This short-term project involves setting up, configuring, and deploying new laptops and related equipment, as well as removing existing desktop systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and set up approximately 83 new laptops, including system imaging, updates, and basic software installation

• Deploy laptops, monitors, and docking stations to designated workstations

• Disconnect, remove, and properly handle existing All-In-One desktop equipment

• Ensure all equipment is installed and functioning correctly prior to handoff

• Maintain accurate records of deployed and removed equipment

• Provide basic troubleshooting and end-user support during deployment

• Follow all data security and equipment handling protocols

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience in IT support, hardware deployment, or technical setup preferred

• Basic knowledge of computer systems, networking, and peripheral devices

• Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 25–40 lbs)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Excellent time management and ability to meet project deadlines

• Reliable transportation and punctuality required
