Position Overview: We seek a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis with the potential to transition into a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Implement therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to families to reinforce therapy goals at home.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.
- Experience working in an occupational therapy clinic is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
