Duties

- Support the cooking process by handling food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, including proper food handling and storage practices to ensure safety.
- Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure dishes are ready for service in a timely manner.
- Follow all food safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards across all kitchen activities.
- Aid in inventory management by monitoring supplies, rotating stock, and reporting shortages or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service times.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary settings is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is equally valued.
- Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus, especially related to meal planning and special dietary needs.
