Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly and passionate Server to join our team at MAMA XITA Bellevue. This role is a key part of our front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Employment Details

• Work Location: STE 101, 550 106th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004
• Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
• Pay Rate: $17.13 per hour tip share, subject to applicable federal, state, and local tax withholdings.
• Benefits Eligibility: Employee discount; additional benefits eligibility based on hours worked.
• Start Date: Upon onboarding completion. All required pre-employment notices and documents will be provided at or before the start date, as required by law.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming experience from start to finish
• Present the menu, answer questions, and make thoughtful recommendations
• Grill meat for guests and ensure it is cooked to their preference
• Monitor tables proactively and respond to guest needs throughout
• Coordinate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams for smooth service
• Handle guest concerns professionally
• Process payments accurately at the end of each table's visit
• Support and perform opening and closing procedures
• Be responsive to work schedules and punctual
• Perform well under high-pressure, high-volume conditions with a positive attitude

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience preferred; full-service or BBQ experience is a plus
• Warm, confident communication style with genuine hospitality instincts
• Ability to manage multiple tables and stay composed under pressure
• Availability on weekends and holidays
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
