Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly and passionate Runner to join our team at MAMA XITA Bellevue. This role is a key part of our front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Employment Details

• Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
• Pay Rate: $17.13 per hour tip share, subject to applicable federal, state, and local tax withholdings.
• Benefits Eligibility: Employee discount; additional benefits eligibility based on hours worked.
• Start Date: Upon onboarding completion. All required pre-employment notices and documents will be provided at or before the start date, as required by law.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the correct tables promptly and accurately
• Communicate with FOH and BOH teams regarding order timing and special requests
• Assist servers with table needs such as refills, extra napkins, and condiments
• Maintain basic menu knowledge to answer guest questions
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Support and perform opening and closing procedures
• Be responsive to work schedules and punctual
• Perform well under high-pressure, high-volume conditions with a positive attitude

Qualifications

• Ability to move quickly and stay calm in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to carry trays and stand for extended periods
• Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required
• Availability on weekends and holidays
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
