Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly and passionate Host to join our team at MAMA XITA Bellevue. This role is a key part of our front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Employment Details

• Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
• Pay Rate: $17.13 per hour tip share, subject to applicable federal, state, and local tax withholdings.
• Benefits Eligibility: Employee discount; additional benefits eligibility based on hours worked.
• Start Date: Upon onboarding completion. All required pre-employment notices and documents will be provided at or before the start date, as required by law.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
• Manage waitlists and reservations, providing accurate wait time estimates
• Seat guests efficiently while balancing server sections
• Communicate effectively with teammates and managers
• Be responsive to work schedules and punctual
• Perform well under high-pressure, high-volume conditions with a positive attitude
• Assist with phone calls and guest inquiries
• Keep the host stand and entrance area clean and organized

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Prior host or customer service experience preferred
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Availability on weekends and holidays
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
