Mow Crew Members at MainStay Landscape are responsible for delivering high-quality lawn care and maintenance services to client properties. This includes weekly mowing, trimming, edging, and seasonal clean-ups, as well as supporting Fine Gardening tasks as needed.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and take pride in maintaining landscapes to MainStay’s quality standards. Crew members work under the direction of the Mow Crew Foreman and collaborate with other team members to ensure efficiency and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform weekly mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing on assigned properties.
• Assist with spring and fall clean-ups.
• Support Fine Gardening crews as needed with planting, mulching, weeding, and other horticultural practices.
• Operate and maintain lawn equipment safely and efficiently (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
• Follow direction from the Mow Crew Foreman to complete daily assignments according to schedule.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and represent MainStay Landscape positively.
• Ensure all work meets MainStay’s quality standards for landscape care.

Qualifications & Skills

• 1 years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial mowing equipment and small landscape tools a plus.
• Strong work ethic and reliability with the ability to take direction.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical strength to lift 50 lbs. or more and stamina for physical labor throughout the day.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist across divisions when needed.
• Valid driver’s license required.
