Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely transport boats, trailers, and marine equipment to and from customer locations, storage facilities, and marinas.
- Operate company trucks and towing equipment in full compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle and trailer safety.
- Assist with loading and unloading boats and equipment using proper securing techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent service during pickups and deliveries.
- Promptly report maintenance needs, mechanical issues, or safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience towing large boats or heavy trailers preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and related marine transport equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time‑management skills.
- Physical ability to assist with loading, unloading, and securing boats.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Seasonal opportunities available (April–May and September–October).
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Flexible schedule, including weekend availability during peak boating season.
