Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join a dynamic Transformation Program Management Office (TPMO) supporting a multi-year enterprise-wide modernization initiative. This role is central to ensuring the successful delivery of a large-scale technology transformation portfolio by providing centralized oversight, governance, and alignment across multiple complex, high-risk programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities and a proven ability to manage competing priorities, drive accountability, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. As a key contributor to the Program Design and Governance workstream, this individual will play a critical role in enabling executive visibility into transformation progress, risk posture, and value realization across an integrated portfolio of strategic programs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex, high-risk projects with significant organizational impact, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
- Oversee project budgets and schedules, providing accurate and timely reporting to executive stakeholders
- Manage day-to-day aspects of project scope, ensuring alignment with program objectives and strategic outcomes
- Develop, maintain, and manage project work plans and work breakdown structures to support effective planning and execution
- Identify, assess, and minimize project risk through proactive risk and issue management practices
- Support the establishment and enforcement of program governance frameworks, standards, and processes across the transformation portfolio
- Provide financial management support, including budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis across programs
- Facilitate vendor management activities, including performance monitoring, contract compliance, and relationship coordination
- Maintain a centralized risk and issue log, driving timely resolution and escalation as appropriate
- Ensure consistency in governance tools, processes, and performance tracking across all programs within the portfolio
- Support the development and delivery of integrated portfolio reporting for executive and senior leadership audiences
- Collaborate with program teams to promote standardization and a unified transformation experience for key stakeholders
Skills:
- Strong project and program management skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex, interdependent workstreams
- Expertise in program governance, including the design and implementation of governance frameworks and operating models
- Proficiency in financial management, including budget oversight, cost tracking, and financial forecasting
- Experience in vendor management, including performance monitoring and contract oversight
- Strong risk and issue management capabilities, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to executive audiences
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization and influence without direct authority
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Experience developing and maintaining project work plans, work breakdown structures, and integrated program schedules
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in project or program management, with a focus on large-scale, complex technology or business transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated experience supporting or operating within a Program Management Office (PMO) or Transformation Program Management Office (TPMO)
- Prior experience managing program governance, financial oversight, vendor relationships, and risk management in an enterprise environment
- Experience working on or supporting technology modernization programs, such as ERP migrations, CIS implementations, or operational technology upgrades, is strongly preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field required
- Master's degree in a related field preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
- Additional certifications in program management, such as PgMP, or risk management, such as PMI-RMP, are strongly preferred
