Job Title: Client Services Bookkeeper
We are seeking a highly client-focused Client Services Bookkeeper to serve as the primary point of contact for bookkeeping clients. This role is heavily client-facing and centered on relationship management, communication, and bookkeeping-related support—rather than day-to-day transactional bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main liaison for assigned clients, leading all client calls, meetings, and ongoing communications.
- Answer client questions related to bookkeeping, accounting processes, reports, and timelines.
- Translate bookkeeping and financial information into clear, client-friendly explanations.
- Coordinate closely with internal bookkeeping and accounting teams to ensure client needs are addressed accurately and efficiently.
- Proactively manage client expectations and provide a high level of customer service.
- Identify and escalate complex accounting issues to the appropriate internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience is required to effectively support and advise clients.
- Strong client-facing and customer service skills with the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly.
- Comfortable leading client meetings and managing multiple client relationships.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsive.
