Job Title: Data Entry / Accounting Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry / Accounting Clerk to support the accounting team with high-volume, accuracy-driven data entry and administrative accounting tasks. This role plays a critical part in maintaining clean, organized, and reliable financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume data entry of financial and accounting information with a high degree of accuracy.
- Enter invoices, payments, and other accounting data into accounting systems.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry and documentation.
- Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and make corrections as needed.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records in accordance with company standards.
- Support the accounting team with general administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Communicate with internal teams to clarify or resolve data discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in data entry within an accounting or finance environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP/AR, general ledger exposure is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills.
- Reliable, professional, and able to handle confidential financial information.
