Project Coordinator
A full-service commercial interiors firm known for delivering elevated, high-end workplace environments is seeking a Project Coordinator with experience in the commercial furniture dealership space. This individual will support projects from specification through installation and closeout, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a seamless client experience.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while coordinating across internal teams, manufacturers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Support commercial furniture projects from order entry through installation and final closeout
- Ensure all projects are executed accurately, on schedule, and aligned with budget expectations
- Partner closely with Sales, Design, Project Management, manufacturers, and installation teams
Order & Specification Management
- Review, process, and manage furniture orders across multiple manufacturers
- Validate specifications including finishes, quantities, pricing, and configurations
- Track order acknowledgements, lead times, and delivery schedules
Logistics & Installation
- Coordinate delivery timelines, warehouse receiving, and installation schedules
- Ensure smooth execution from delivery through final installation
- Proactively identify and resolve any logistical or scheduling issues
Systems & Reporting
- Maintain accurate project tracking, documentation, and reporting
- Utilize industry tools such as CET (Configura), CAP Workspace, and Khameleon for specifications, pricing, and order management
- Leverage Excel for tracking, reporting, and data organization
Product Knowledge
- Apply strong understanding of ancillary furniture including seating, lounge, conference, and collaboration products
- Ensure product selections align with specifications and client expectations
Client & Sales Support
- Support clients with day-2 orders, MAC work (Moves/Adds/Changes), and service-related requests
- Assist sales teams with RFP responses, including product specifications, pricing coordination, and documentation preparation
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience within a commercial furniture dealership environment (required)
- Proven experience in project coordination, operations, or project support roles
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Hands-on experience with CET (Configura), CAP Workspace, and Khameleon
- Solid understanding of ancillary furniture specification
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
