Madisonhealth is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Rexburg, Idaho. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a dynamic rural emergency department setting.
As a key member of our emergency services team, the Emergency Physician will deliver comprehensive emergency care, working collaboratively with nursing, EMS, and hospital leadership to ensure excellent outcomes for patients across all age groups and conditions.
Located in Rexburg, Idaho, Madisonhealth is a progressive community hospital serving the Upper Valley region. Our emergency department provides 24/7 comprehensive care and is supported by a dedicated nursing team, local EMS partners, and strong hospital leadership committed to continuous improvement and patient-centered service.
Schedule: This non-exempt position includes:
An average of 14 scheduled shifts per month
A combination of day and night shifts to ensure continuous coverage
Flexible scheduling to support department and provider needs
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency (or extensive emergency experience in Family or Internal Medicine).
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (or primary specialty with relevant ED experience).
Minimum of 3 years of clinical emergency medicine experience in a hospital or emergency department setting.
Unrestricted Idaho medical license (or eligibility).
Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality care in a community hospital environment.
