They reached a new threshold from a capital standpoint in North America and are building out several teams internally across the investment bank.
Again, this is a brand new function within the investment bank, which will allow you to participate in the build-out of this process long term.
Details:
- Prepare and/or review assigned regulatory reports in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with US GAAP and instructions from regulatory authorities.
- Knowledge of financial accounting and regulatory reporting, as well as an understanding of the financial industry and products.
- Support the team leader of the governance function for regulatory reporting, which includes coordination of Regulatory Reporting Governance Committee, Interpretation Forum, and handling communication with outside of reporting production team.
- Responsible for regulatory reports across all entities under the Combined US Operations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare or review daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual and ad-hoc regulatory reports including, but not limited to, Federal Reserve reports (e.g. FR Y-15, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, FFIEC 002, FFIEC 009, FFIEC 019, FR2644, and FR2900,), Department of Treasury reports (TIC Reports), and Department of Commerce reports (e.g. BE-605, BE-15, and BE-125) with the ability to interpret the relevant regulatory instructions.
- Reconcile reporting data to GL, validation of static data and perform variance analysis.
- Support for the governance function of the regulatory reports, which includes development of trainings, and coordination of Regulatory Reporting Governance Committee, Interpretation Forum, handling communication with outside of reporting production team (e.g. Internal Auditor, Quality Assurance, and FRB) and Change Management Forum.
- Monitor and ensure that changes in the reporting instructions and accounting standards made by the regulatory authorities are incorporated within the reports submitted.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across organization.
Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience from a national public accounting firm (with banking clients) or internal audit.
- Supporting investment bank regulatory reporting or working within a regulatory reporting production function at a financial institution.
Salary : $165,000 - $190,000
