Base Salary: $135,000 – $185,000
Overview:
A leading global financial institution is building out its next generation of credit risk technology and is seeking a VP-level Product Owner to sit at the intersection of Risk, Analytics, and Engineering. This role will drive the strategy and delivery of scalable risk platforms, with a strong emphasis on AI-enabled capabilities. It’s an opportunity to shape how risk is measured, monitored, and acted upon across a complex organization, with direct visibility to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for credit risk platforms, including AI-driven capabilities and analytics tools
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation through deployment and continuous enhancement
- Partner with risk, analytics, and technology teams to identify and prioritize high-impact automation and tooling opportunities
- Drive development of tools supporting exposure measurement (e.g., PFE, EAD), limit monitoring, stress testing, and portfolio analytics
- Design and implement intuitive dashboards and visualization tools to enhance risk reporting and decision-making
- Integrate AI solutions into risk workflows, including data aggregation, anomaly detection, and automated insights generation
- Lead Agile delivery processes, including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and stakeholder alignment
- Promote adoption of new tools through training, change management, and user engagement strategies
- Stay current on emerging technologies across AI, data infrastructure, and risk systems to continuously enhance platform capabilities
- Balance regulatory requirements, business priorities, and technical constraints in product decision-making
