Overview
A growing and dynamic organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting and financial reporting team. This role will play a key part in supporting the month-end close process, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, and helping integrate newly acquired entities into the broader accounting infrastructure.
The position offers strong visibility across finance functions and exposure to process improvement initiatives, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with GAAP and internal policies
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze account variances
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages
• Partner with internal stakeholders on acquisition integration and accounting process alignment
• Support internal and external audit requests by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
• Work closely with FP&A, Tax, and other teams to ensure financial accuracy and consistency
• Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls documentation
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
• Assist with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis projects
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA or progress toward certification preferred
• 3 years of accounting experience required
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Experience with Oracle ERP preferred; EssBase experience is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
