We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Network and Computer Systems Administrator to install, configure, and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure. This role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of LAN, WAN, and Internet systems, supporting continuous network availability and optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and support network systems, including:
- Local Area Networks (LAN)
- Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- Internet and intranet systems
- Monitor network performance to ensure availability and reliability for all users
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Monitor and test website and system performance to ensure uninterrupted operation
- Assist in network modeling, analysis, and capacity planning
- Coordinate between network hardware and software to ensure seamless integration
- Implement and administer network security measures to protect systems and data
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Supervise and provide guidance to computer user support specialists and network support staff
- Document network configurations, processes, and maintenance activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in network and systems administration
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices
