PSI Pax, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Network and Computer Systems Administrator Advanced / Senior to support our government customer in Patuxent River, MD.
Description:
- Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
- Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
- Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
- Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
- Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
- May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum: Top Secret Clearance.
- Expected: Top Secret – SCI eligible- Full Performance Level Security Clearance.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must work well independently; have the ability to interface with customers in senior/executive level positions.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and must provide customer service both internally and externally.
Experience Requirements: Advanced / Senior
- Has at least 7 years of experience performing work related to the LCAT functional description.
- Meetings the identified military equivalent on the job training (OJT) requirement.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Discipline is preferred.
