Overview
Our client, a large global financial institution with a significant U.S. presence, is looking to bring on a senior-level regulatory reporting professional to lead oversight of their U.S. holding company reporting function. This individual will own the full lifecycle of regulatory filings, enhance reporting infrastructure, and play a key role in strengthening controls and process efficiency across the organization.
This is a highly visible position with leadership responsibility, partnering cross-functionally with legal, compliance, audit, and business units while managing a team.
Responsibilities
- Own the preparation, review, and submission of key U.S. regulatory filings across multiple reporting requirements (FRB/OCC/FDIC-related reports)
- Oversee and improve the end-to-end regulatory reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with evolving standards
- Drive automation, system enhancements, and process optimization initiatives across reporting platforms
- Evaluate and implement changes driven by new or updated regulatory requirements
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and documentation tied to regulatory reporting
- Partner with internal stakeholders (compliance, legal, audit, finance, operations) to support reporting and transformation initiatives
- Identify risk areas within reporting processes and implement corrective actions as needed
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of reporting professionals, promoting accountability and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in U.S. regulatory reporting within financial services, with exposure to a range of banking regulatory filings
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements for U.S. financial institutions
- Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting systems (Axiom or similar platforms strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to lead projects related to automation, process improvement, or regulatory change
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Effective communicator with experience interfacing with senior stakeholders and regulators
- Prior team management or leadership experience
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree is a plus
- Familiarity with financial products and core financial statements
- Experience with data tools (SQL, Python, Tableau) and advanced Excel capabilities
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
