A nationally recognized accounting and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Partner to lead and grow its Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) audit practice. This role is responsible for overseeing complex audit engagements, serving as a trusted advisor to AEC clients, and driving practice growth through client leadership and business development.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction clients, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve audit workpapers, financial statements, and related deliverables.
- Serve as a senior advisor to clients, understanding their business objectives and providing insights on financial performance and risk.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships within the AEC sector.
- Identify engagement risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Mentor and develop audit managers and staff, promoting quality, accountability, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with other audit and advisory leaders to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Actively participate in business development efforts, including expanding existing client relationships and originating new AEC engagements.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional firm services within the AEC client base.
- Maintain oversight of engagement quality, timelines, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA required.
- 12 years of audit experience with a significant focus on Architecture, Engineering, and Construction clients.
- Strong command of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and audit standards.
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple engagements and teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build and grow client relationships.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable operating in a senior leadership and client-facing role.
Salary : $220,000 - $500,000
