We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Data & Records Manager to oversee the organization, storage, protection, and lifecycle management of critical business, engineering, and compliance documentation across our aerospace and oil & gas operations. This role ensures that all digital and physical records meet stringent industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality policies. The ideal candidate has strong records management expertise and is comfortable working with technical, engineering, operational, and compliance data.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain the company’s records retention policies and document control procedures.Manage the intake, categorization, indexing, and secure storage of technical, operational, and business records.Ensure accurate record lifecycle management including creation, modification, archival, and disposal.Ensure records adhere to aerospace, energy, and manufacturing compliance requirements (FAA, AS9100, ISO 9001, API, OSHA).Maintain and audit documentation required for quality assurance, manufacturing traceability, safety compliance, and regulatory reporting.Coordinate internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate documentation packages.Oversee engineering drawings, manuals, certifications, MTRs, test reports, QA/QC packages, and operational logs.Manage controlled documents, including version control, approvals, change logs, and distribution lists.Support engineering, supply chain, and operations teams with document retrieval and updates.Maintain and optimize digital document management systems (DMS/EDMS) such as SharePoint, Documentum, Windchill, Laserfiche, or similar platforms.Ensure appropriate user access, permissions, and security levels are enforced.Assist in implementing new technologies or workflows to improve documentation efficiency.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across repositories.Run reports, track metrics, and monitor compliance with data governance policies.Provide training to staff on document control procedures and best practices.Qualifications1 years of experience in records management, document control, or data governance.Experience in aerospace, oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry.Strong knowledge of document management systems (DMS/EDMS).High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and cloud-based storage systems.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience supporting engineering, maintenance, or supply chain documentation workflows.Understanding of technical documents such as engineering drawings, part specifications, certificates of conformance, QA documentation, and operational logs.Certifications in Records Management or Information Governance (e.g., CRM, CIP, CDIA).Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
