The Operations Analyst supports the optimization, efficiency, and performance of operational processes within an aerospace and oil & gas organization. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to production, supply chain, safety, quality, and maintenance operations. The analyst provides insights, dashboards, and recommendations to leadership to enhance operational reliability, reduce risk, improve productivity, and support compliance with industry standards.ResponsibilitiesCollect, analyze, and interpret operational, production, and maintenance data across aerospace or oil & gas operations.Identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for performance improvement.Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for leadership (e.g., production output, downtime, supply chain performance, safety metrics).Support root-cause analyses using methods like Six Sigma, 5-Why, or FMEA.Evaluate existing workflows and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce cost, or increase safety.Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and field operations.Document processes, procedures, and operational standards.Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly operations reports for cross-functional teams.Translate complex data into clear visualizations and business insights.Ensure consistency and accuracy of reports aligned with industry compliance requirements (FAA, DoD, OSHA, API, etc.).Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, production, maintenance, safety, and finance teams.Support operational readiness reviews, risk assessments, and audits.Provide analytical support for major projects, system upgrades, and operational transitions.Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-benefit analyses related to operations projects.Analyze supply chain cost drivers, inventory levels, equipment utilization, and resource requirements.Support vendor and contractor performance assessments.Maintain and optimize operational databases and analytics tools.Support integration and testing of digital systems (ERP, MRP, CMMS, SCADA, MES platforms).Qualifications1 years of experience in operations, data analytics, supply chain, or performance improvement.Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros).Understanding of industry standards (AS9100, FAA, API, ISO, OSHA).Analytical and critical-thinking skillsExcellent communication and data storytelling abilityStrong attention to detail and accuracy
