About The Role
In this role, you will effectively manage the Macro team and vendors to ensure exemplary facilities management services are provided to the client. You will oversee resources, foster a culture of teamwork, and promote continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Facilities Operations Oversight: Manage daily FM operations including reception, business service center (mail and reprographics), security access and badging, critical equipment maintenance, corporate event logistics, budgeting, financial reporting, invoice approval, aged debt, and general facilities functions. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and on-call rotations as required.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise team members, ensuring alignment with company standards and expectations. Execute supervisory duties in compliance with Macro’s policies and applicable labor laws. Lead recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees. Oversee work planning, task assignments, performance evaluations, and employee recognitions, and discipline.
- Project & Move Management: Coordinate projects and relocations as required by the client, ensuring accurate data is maintained in the client’s CAFM system.
- Helpdesk Management: Ensure timely resolution of helpdesk tickets in accordance with SLA requirements.
- Health, Safety, and Sustainability: Provide training and oversight for health, safety, environmental, and sustainability processes, ensuring compliance with best practices. Oversee the client’s ISO 14001 accreditation and programs, document control, auditing, Green Team initiatives, utility/usage data entry, legislative monitoring, and annual reporting.
- Service Delivery Oversight : Manage internal and external service teams to drive continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and adherence to budget and forecast guidelines, leveraging Macro’s Center of Excellence for support.
- Vendor Management: Ensure cost-effective service delivery through robust supplier oversight and performance measurement.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage capital and operating budgets. Ensure proper classification of purchase orders and invoice approvals in line with client accounting standards.
- Risk Management: Minimise operational risks and maintain profitability in alignment with agreed targets and KPIs.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Maintain high-level client engagement, understand business partner needs, manage vendor relationships, and liaise with landlords and property management teams.
- Quality Management: Maintain consistency in quality standards across client and Macro operations, aligned with other locations.
- Strategic & Technical Support: Provide general guidance and support to customers, peers, and team members.
- Business Development & Industry Networking: Identify and pursue new opportunities for Macro. Stay informed on industry best practices through engagement with IFMA, BOMA, and peer networks.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to U.S. and Macro processes, including health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Information Sharing: Collaborate and share insights with Facilities Managers globally.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency with internet software, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including delivering presentations, drafting reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical documents, and government regulations.
- Solid understanding of basic mathematical concepts, including percentages, ratios, and statistical analysis, to support accurate financial tracking and reporting. Capable of interpreting budget data, managing expenses, and contributing to financial planning processes.

Essential
- Senior-level experience in Facilities Management.
- Strong communicator and team player with proven people management skills.
- Experienced in customer-facing roles, adaptable, and maintains a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. Professional certifications such as IFMA CFM or FMP, and recognised QHSE qualifications are desirable.
- Business development experience and a well-established network within the FM industry are preferred.
