What You’ll Own
This is more than debits and credits—you’ll be leading the financial heartbeat of the business:
- Own and oversee day-to-day accounting operations (GL, fixed assets, tax, insurance)
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close—accurately and on time
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance across the board
- Turn financial data into real insights that leadership can act on
- Partner with operations, sales, HR, and leadership to support business growth
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies
- Identify gaps, streamline processes, and make things better than you found them
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team
You won’t be stuck in a silo.
You’ll Be
- In the room when decisions are made
- Helping leaders understand what’s working—and what’s not
- Driving improvements across systems, reporting, and processes
- Building something stronger, not just maintaining it
- Strong experience in accounting operations and financial reporting
- Proven ability to manage month-end close and financial processes
- Experience maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance
- Confidence working with data and translating it into clear, actionable insights
- Leadership experience—someone who can develop people, not just manage tasks
- A mindset of continuous improvement (you don’t settle for “how it’s always been done”)
- Strong communication skills—you can talk numbers with finance and translate them for everyone else
You’ll do well in this role if you:
- Ask “why” behind the numbers—not just “what”
- Take ownership and follow things through—no loose ends
- Can balance accuracy, speed, and business impact
- Enjoy building structure, improving processes, and raising the bar
- Want to be part of a team—not just a department
