Job Function
The College Work-Study Macomb Multicultural and International Initiatives (MMII) Assistant supports the Director of Inclusive Curricula and Campus Enrichment Activities by assisting with various tasks related to MMII on-campus events and activities. This position requires gathering, transporting and setting up for promotional activities or on-campus events, basic clerical tasks and speaking with students with enthusiasm when in a visible position representing MMII.
Now hiring for the Fall 2026 semester
All applicants MUST meet the following criteria or will be marked 'disqualified':
a current student at Macomb Community College taking AT LEAST 6 credit hours.
Job Responsibilities
- Organize MMII promotional items and flyers for on-campus activities, such as welcome week, Faculty Development Day and other gatherings.
- Assist with transporting, setting up and collecting items to promotional activities.
- Represent the MMII initiative with enthusiasm and personal initiative to welcome students to participate.
- Assist with setting up for on-campus events, including transporting materials, starting up technology, providing directions and guiding participants to signing in.
- Distributing flyers and other MMII items to various departments or faculty members as needed.
Education
Must be a current Macomb Community College student in any discipline.
Qualifications
Related work experience or demonstrated ability to perform duties of the position.
