Job Function
Provide assistance with academic support and informational needs to students, faculty and staff.

a current student at Macomb Community College taking AT LEAST 6 credit hours.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement Academic Success Center policies and procedures relating to academic support and test administration.
- Provide direct assistance to accommodate client needs.
- Answer questions regarding Departmental and College-wide services and events; routes students and staff appropriately.
- Interfaces with other Student Service areas of the College.
- Answer telephones; route inquiries to appropriate departments and employee.
- Facilitate student testing procedures as assigned with great attention to detail.
- Ensures eligibility for, and delivery of, individualized ADA requirements as appropriate.
- Maintain order in the Academic Success Center, Testing Room and Computer Lab.
- Perform opening and closing procedures.
- Troubleshoot copy machines and printers.
- Compile, record departmental data and file documents.
- Facilitate information between departments; oversee deposits, deliveries and appropriate inventories of operating items.
- Distribute mail and prepare mailings.
- Provide support to full-time staff as required.
- Participate in departmental trainings.
- Represent MCC to the community.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
High School graduate or GED equivalent; pursuing associate degree.
Qualifications
Is an active student taking at least 6 credits with an eligible work-study award.
