Summer Camp Counselor: We are currently seeking responsible, energetic counselors with a genuine passion for working with children to join our 2026 Seasonal Summer Camp Staff. Staff who can commit to at least 7 weeks of camp are prioritized. 2026 Camps are as follows:

Summer Camp Sessions 1 - 8
Purpose: These positions are seasonal employees working under the supervision of the Camp Director. The main responsibility of these positions is to lead a group of campers in having an enjoyable, safe, and enriching camp experience.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for the health, well-being, and happiness of campers.

Provide opportunities for the group so that all individuals experience success while at camp.

Encourage respect for other campers, personal property, camp equipment and facilities.

Guide campers in participating successfully in all aspects of camp activities.

Supervise, assist instructors, and actively participate in all aspects of the campers’ day.

Observe camper behavior, assess appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures, and apply appropriate behavior-management techniques.

Meet and communicate regularly with the Camp Director regarding concerns, updates, challenges.

Provide appropriate feedback and information to parents as needed for their campers to have a successful camp experience.

Maintain positive relationships with campers by showing sensitivity to campers’ emotional needs and problem solving any camper issues effectively.

Act as a role model for campers by following all policies and demonstrating enthusiasm, sense of humor, and self-control.

Implement positive behavior-management techniques.

Help maintain space and supplies.

Demonstrates experience working with children; camp or other group experience preferred.

Ability to teach and lead various recreational activities.

Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control.

Available Monday - Friday from June 1 through August 1, 2026. We will try to accommodate any date conflicts; however, we do prioritize staff who can commit to at least 7 weeks of camp.
