What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fragrance Development Manager position at Mackinnon Bruce International?
Our client is a global leader within fragrances with a strong presence on the North America market. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are looking to add a Fragrance Development Manager to the business.
We are looking for an individual with several years of evaluation experience in personal care and fine fragrance markets (open to experience in other categories).
The Role
- Support the team of perfumers when requested during the creative process
- Provide the sales team with winning fragrances and align on client strategies
- Able to identify olfactive trends in the market and identify customers’ needs and gaps within their brands
- Close collaboration with the marketing team
- Create/generate olfactive descriptions
- Support and participate in expert sensory panels
- Coordinate with Global teams to ensure a good exchange of library fragrances
- Help ensure brief deadlines are met and/or convey project status to all teams
The Requirements
- Degree in chemistry or aligned field
- Direct fragrance house experience working as an evaluator/FDM.
- Strong olfactive background and creative background.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and hit deadlines.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
