We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Exploration Geologist to join our clients growing team in Arizona. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mineral exploration, fieldwork, and geological interpretation. You will play a key role in identifying and evaluating new mineral resource opportunities across a range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute field exploration programs, including mapping, sampling, and drilling supervision
- Conduct geological mapping, core logging, and geochemical data interpretation
- Analyze and interpret geological, geophysical, and geochemical datasets
- Support target generation and resource evaluation activities
- Prepare technical reports, maps, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 3 years of experience in mineral exploration (precious or base metals preferred)
- Strong knowledge of regional geology in the southwestern United States is an asset
- Proficiency with geological software (e.g., ArcGIS, Leapfrog, or similar)
- Experience with core logging, drill program management, and QA/QC procedures
- Ability to work in remote field environments and varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively
