Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for being in the field logging from an RC Drill and assisting with water exploration
- Schedule - Rotating Day/Night
- Duties to include on-site logging reverse circulation drill cuttings and the ability to perform water and mineral resource exploration, geologic logging and laboratory quality assurance
- May assist company hydrogeologists with groundwater airlift, pump and recovery testing
- Direction of daily objectives for the project
- Sampling- determining appropriate intervals for sampling and sampling accurately
- Data Entry- using site-determined software, entering drill data accurately
- Sample QA/QC-Following quality assurance/control methods in logging and sampling
- Adhering to site safety practices
- Other duties may be assigned
- The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk and sit
- Must be able to lift and carry repetitively up to 50-lbs through a 10-12 hour shift
- The employee regularly performs repetitive work involving use of hands and wrists
- The employee is frequently required to walk on uneven or slippery surfaces
- The employee may be exposed to high precarious places
- The employee is required to wear and use the proper safety equipment, including steel toed boots and respiratory protection, and techniques to insure the employee’s safety and safety of others
