Role Summary
We are looking for a proactive and engaged leader to oversee our production operations. Your primary focus will be maintaining high standards of quality and safety while ensuring our shop floor runs efficiently. By managing daily workflows and guiding your team, you will play a vital role in helping us reach our production goals and achieving operational success in our busy manufacturing facility.
Primary Duties- Mentor and guide production staff to foster professional growth and team development.
- Help the organization achieve consistent output by meeting quality benchmarks and shipping deadlines.
- Maximize operational efficiency by carefully managing resources, staffing levels, and daily workflows.
- Promote a culture of safety to ensure all team members adhere to established protection protocols.
- Facilitate daily briefings to align the team on key objectives and daily priorities.
- Address and troubleshoot production bottlenecks as they arise during the shift.
- Work alongside Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality departments to resolve operational challenges.
- Assist in the integration and training of incoming staff members.
- Improve overall shift performance by tracking key metrics and reporting on productivity.
- Contribute to long-term success by championing lean initiatives and waste reduction strategies.
- Verify that all activities remain in alignment with customer specifications and internal company standards.
- Minimum of two years in a manufacturing leadership role, with a preference for automotive or composites experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse production teams.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on production setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of production workflows and manufacturing methodologies.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts is considered an asset.
