About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will spearhead quality control initiatives to ensure our manufacturing outputs consistently exceed industry benchmarks. You will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence by implementing robust audit frameworks and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our production facilities.
Responsibilities- Design and execute comprehensive production audits and risk assessments to maintain high manufacturing standards.
- Champion a Built-In-Quality philosophy by managing root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effective problem-solving workflows.
- Analyze statistical data and product specifications to establish reliability benchmarks for finished assemblies.
- Develop and implement rigorous inspection criteria, guiding teams to ensure strict adherence to quality protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional plant leadership to align quality objectives with production goals and cost-efficiency targets.
- Manage vendor quality relationships to ensure all incoming components meet our stringent material requirements.
- Oversee team performance, including training, scheduling, and professional development, to ensure consistent adherence to organizational policies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 4-5 years of professional experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, or engineering environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and data reporting tools.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a commitment to accountability and decision-making.
- Ability to travel as needed to support facility operations.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM) methodologies.
- Experience in developing and maintaining quality management systems (QMS).
- Proven track record in resolving complex customer quality complaints and implementing preventative measures.
