About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to champion product excellence and reliability across our manufacturing operations. You will play a pivotal role in refining our quality management systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that every product meets rigorous performance standards.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements directly into manufacturing workflows.
- Manage the lifecycle of CAPA, NCMR, and ECR processes to resolve quality discrepancies efficiently.
- Develop comprehensive inspection documentation, including control plans, bubble drawings, and initial sample inspection reports.
- Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor production data, identify trends, and implement data-driven process improvements.
- Maintain and calibrate precision measurement equipment, including Faro Arm programming, to ensure accurate inspection results.
- Facilitate Material Review Board (MRB) meetings to address non-conforming materials and uphold quality standards.
- Promote a culture of efficiency by assisting in the implementation and maintenance of 5S workplace organization practices.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering or similar manufacturing role.
- Strong proficiency in GD&T and inspection methodologies.
- Proven experience with PPAP documentation and ISO 9001 standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with SPC software.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience conducting internal process audits.
- Demonstrated ability to train personnel on inspection tools and equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
