Millwright Supervisor

Our Macon, GA facility is looking for a talented Millwright Supervisor to lead our mechanical operations. You will be responsible for managing equipment repairs, installations, and maintenance to keep our production systems performing at their peak. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is enthusiastic about mechanical systems and ready to guide our technical team.

• Direct and organize the daily workflows of rigging staff and millwrights.
• Organize and map out the timeline for equipment installation projects to ensure timely completion.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by enforcing company policies and safety standards.
• Perform routine evaluations of hardware and machinery to detect malfunctions and execute necessary repairs.
• Provide guidance and professional development to staff regarding safety standards and industry techniques.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to achieve installation objectives and address complex technical hurdles.
• Keep precise documentation regarding equipment health and project progress.
• Support the management of project budgets and the distribution of necessary resources.

• Completion of high school or GED; a technical certification or degree is a plus.
• Demonstrated history of success in a supervisory capacity within a rigging or millwright environment.
• Deep understanding of rigging techniques, mechanical systems, and millwright procedures.
• Effective communication and leadership capabilities.
• Competency in analyzing and utilizing technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Skilled in the safe and efficient operation of various power and hand tools.
• Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot issues and maintain high standards of precision.
• Flexibility to adjust your schedule as needed to handle urgent maintenance requirements.
