About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to ensure the operational efficiency of our equipment and facilities. In this role, you will be instrumental in performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and implementing effective repair solutions. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will contribute directly to our operational success.
Responsibilities
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Fabricate parts and components as needed using machine shop equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to facilitate effective repairs.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing Allen Bradley, ABB, AC/DC motors, and/or other PLC systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety procedures, including LOTO.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP maintenance module.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in adverse conditions.
