Responsibilities
- Set up and operate grinding equipment to produce parts according to blueprints and work instructions.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on parts using precision instruments like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Troubleshoot and correct dimensional issues, ensuring setups meet required standards.
- Maintain accurate records of completed and scrapped parts, updating the company database as needed.
- Interpret blueprints and technical documents to determine appropriate grinding operations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and depth micrometers.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and work operation sheets accurately.
- Solid understanding of computer systems and data entry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
