About the Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our operational environment remains safe, efficient, and well-organized. You will utilize your mechanical aptitude to support facility upkeep, manage waste streams, and assist in the preventative maintenance of essential equipment.
Responsibilities- Optimize facility cleanliness by managing waste disposal and maintaining production workstations.
- Operate forklifts to organize scrap materials and load trailers efficiently.
- Enhance site safety and presentation by performing routine housekeeping and grounds maintenance.
- Support the longevity of facility assets through proactive preventative maintenance and minor building repairs.
- Execute painting and general facility improvements to maintain high operational standards.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements to foster a secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Physical capability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
