About the Role
We are seeking a skilled technician to maintain and repair overhead cranes, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. You will play a crucial part in supporting our production processes by keeping our crane systems running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on overhead cranes to identify and address potential issues.
- Diagnose and repair electrical components, including AC drives, AC contactors, and PLC controls.
- Maintain and repair mechanical systems, such as gearboxes, wheels, couplings, and structural components.
- Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase 480V power systems, AC magnet controllers, and DC magnet controllers.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all crane maintenance and repair work adheres to safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent military experience.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting 480VAC 3-phase motor control systems.
- Ability to work at heights exceeding six feet.
