Be part of a 75-person shop equipped with 12 machines, including turning centers with live tooling and 3-4 axis mills. This role offers the chance to master Esprit software, a new addition to the shop.
As a CNC professional, you will be responsible for optimizing CNC machine performance and ensuring the production of high-quality parts. Your expertise will drive efficiency and contribute to the company's reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Maximize CNC machine efficiency through setup, operation, and program adjustments.
- Ensure part quality by performing first article inspections.
- Develop CNC programs to meet production needs.
- Provide support across various shop functions as required.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC machine setup and operation, including milling centers and/or live tooling.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings (including GD&T) and following verbal instructions.
- Solid understanding of G-Code.
Preferred Skills
- Experience training and mentoring operators and other machinists on CNC machines.
- Familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc controllers.
- Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Ability to fabricate and modify specialized tooling for complex parts.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
