Based in Half Moon Bay with Bay Area coverage, Lyon Restoration supports homeowners and commercial clients through emergency mitigation and full rebuild services, restoring properties safely and professionally when things go wrong. Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations across restoration and reconstruction services
- Serve as the owner's right hand, turning priorities into plans, and plans into execution
- Manage and improve workflow, scheduling, and operational KPIs (speed, quality, margin, customer satisfaction)
- Build strong accountability rhythms with project managers, coordinators, and field teams
- Ensure exceptional client experience with insurance partners, property managers, and customers
- Strengthen systems for job tracking, documentation, compliance, and communication
- Identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and help scale capacity
- Support hiring, training, and performance management to retain great people
- Maintain a high bar for professionalism, safety, and service urgency in all departments
- 10 or more years in construction/restoration operations (or a highly comparable field), with leadership responsibility
- Proven success as a GM/Operations Manager/Branch Manager/Director of Ops (or similar)
- Strong grasp of project-based operations: scheduling, labor, margins, customer communication, and quality control
- Calm under pressure, able to lead confidently in emergency-response environments
- Excellent communication and people leadership: you build buy-in and accountability
- Comfortable working hands-on: you'll guide, solve, and follow through (not just delegate)
- Bonus points for experience with insurance restoration workflows, mitigation, estimating, or production management
- Full-time, W-2 Employment
- Base Salary Range: $100,000 to $150,000 annually (depending on experience)
