Our client is currently seeking or in need of a Manufacturing Lead with assembly to support operations in North Hollywood, CA. This role owns end-to-end inventory accuracy for assembly and production builds while partnering closely with production, receiving, and planning. The position balances hands-on reconciliation with thoughtful process improvement, ensuring materials, bills of materials, and finished goods are aligned in systems and on the floor. Success looks like clean inventory, on-time builds, and clear communication that keeps schedules intact.
The Day-to-Day:
- Reconcile inventory tied to assembly and production builds, posting completions, material consumption, and finished goods with precision.
- Validate bills of materials (BOMs) against actual usage and correct discrepancies before they impact schedules.
- Investigate shortages, overages, and adjustments; document root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate daily and weekly build requirements with production; confirm material availability with receiving.
- Monitor and balance work-in-progress (WIP) to maintain accurate, real-time counts.
- Maintain data integrity in the inventory management/ERP system and produce clear variance summaries.
- Identify, propose, and help implement process improvements that reduce errors and waste.
Qualification:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3 years in inventory control or manufacturing operations with direct experience reconciling through assembly/production builds.
- Proficiency with Excel and inventory systems; comfortable with lookups, pivots, and data hygiene.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong follow-through, and calm execution under shifting priorities.
Preferred:
- Background in cosmetic manufacturing or co-packing.
- Experience with ERP platforms.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Pay Rate:
- $23.00 /hr
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (overtime as needed)
