What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water/Wastewater Lead Engineer position at LVI Associates?
A Different Kind of Firm
Unlike rigid, metrics-driven consultancies, our client puts people first - both their employees and the communities they serve. This is a statewide firm with a strong reputation in the water and wastewater sector, regularly competing (and winning) against much larger international firms through technical excellence, client trust, and agility.
The culture is relaxed, trusting, and genuinely collaborative. Engineers are empowered to take real ownership of their projects, make decisions, and lead without micromanagement. Wellbeing and long-term success are valued far more than utilization targets.
As a Project Engineer / Project Manager, you will take ownership of a high-profile, multimillion-pound water or wastewater project, leading it from planning and design through delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll manage both the technical direction and the client relationship, supported by a collaborative team of experienced engineers and specialists.
You'll play a key role in project success while helping strengthen the firm's reputation as a top-tier statewide consultancy capable of delivering complex infrastructure on par with international competitors.
