Key Responsibilities
- Manage bid site subscriptions and identify target opportunities
- Acquire, review, and log bid documents
- Interpret plans, specifications, and bills of materials
- Coordinate with discipline leads on labor and material estimates
- Lead weekly proposal review meetings and go or no-go evaluations
- Prepare RFIs and bid question submissions
- Develop electrical BOMs for estimating
- Maintain costing templates, metrics, and historical pricing databases
- Compile pre- and post-bid data for internal analysis
- Research alternative vendors and equipment options to improve cost position
- Manage vendor pricing programs and sourcing strategies
- Maintain CRM data, content libraries, and proposal tools, including AI-based platforms
- Public works estimating experience required
- Background in systems integration or electrical contracting strongly preferred
- Strong ability to interpret construction documents and technical specifications
- Experience coordinating multi-discipline estimates
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with estimating software, CRM systems, and proposal tools
- Sales or project management experience is a plus
Salary : $70,000 - $115,000
