Project Manager/ Estimator- Tacoma, WA

Location: Tacoma, WA
Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 (DOE)

A well‑established heavy civil general contractor is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to support both preconstruction and active project delivery across a range of infrastructure and civil construction projects in the Puget Sound region. This role offers a balanced mix of estimating responsibilities and project oversight, working closely with field operations and leadership.

• 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction as a Project Manager, Estimator, or combined PM/Estimator
• Experience delivering and/or estimating projects involving earthwork, utilities, roadway, site development, or public works
• Proven background preparing competitive bids, budgets, and cost forecasts
• Experience managing projects from award through close‑out, including subcontractor coordination and cost control
• Familiarity with public agency, municipal, or DOT work preferred
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Proficiency with estimating and project controls software such as HeavyBid, Agtek, Bluebeam, Excel, and Procore
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with estimating, field, and executive teams
