The Role
Our client is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join its growing South Carolina team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and high-impact projects while collaborating with experienced engineers and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structural systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
- Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, architects, and project managers
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments as required
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Support project delivery from concept through construction
- Assist in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 4 years of structural design experience (flexible depending on level)
- P.E. Licensed
- Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software (e.g., RAM, ETABS, STAAD, or similar)
- Familiarity with US design codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
