- Lead project teams in delivering comprehensive, accurate construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and material selections
- Collaborate across disciplines with internal teams, consultants, contractors, clients, and agencies to achieve project goals
- Contribute to all phases of project delivery, including design, documentation, and construction administration
- Integrate sustainable design strategies into project solutions
- Ensure clear, timely communication between clients and project teams
- Manage projects using internal systems, including developing work plans and overseeing budgets, schedules, and fees
- Support business development efforts, including proposals, letters of interest (LOIs), and market research
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Engage with industry events, conferences, and community activities to expand professional networks
- Contribute to office initiatives, professional development programs, and mentorship of junior staff
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Registered Architect (Illinois preferred); NCARB certification a plus
- 10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in project management
- Experience working across multiple sectors (Education, Commercial, Transit, Municipal, Industrial preferred)
- Proven success developing new business and maintaining client relationships
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Demonstrated construction administration experience (RFIs, submittals, contractor coordination, construction contracts)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, and other modeling/rendering tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
