Project Manager - Water and Wastewater
We are working with a leading employee-owned engineering consultancy seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects across California. The role will focus on managing projects from planning and design through construction, while serving as a key point of contact for clients and internal teams. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical involvement and client-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage water and wastewater projects including treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, and storage systems
* Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with internal design staff and external stakeholders
* Maintain responsibility for project scope, schedule, budget, and overall delivery
* Serve as the primary client contact and support ongoing relationship development
* Oversee preparation of technical reports, design documents, and specifications
* Support business development efforts including proposals and client engagement
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
* Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California or ability to obtain
* 6 years of experience in water or wastewater engineering
* Strong experience managing municipal infrastructure projects
* Exposure to treatment, conveyance, or distribution systems
* Proven ability to work directly with clients and lead project teams
