Overview
A growing, employee-owned engineering firm is seeking a Water Resources (Senior) Project Manager to support and expand its water resources and stormwater practice. This is a high-impact role for an experienced professional (10 years) who can lead projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to strategic growth across the Southeast.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of private development and municipal stormwater projects, while collaborating across disciplines within a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage stormwater and water resources projects from concept through delivery
- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control
- Serve as the primary client point of contact, maintaining and developing strong relationships
- Support and contribute to business development activities (preferred but not required)
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across transportation, civil, and environmental groups
- Contribute to the growth and development of the stormwater practice

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 10 years of experience in stormwater/water resources engineering
- Proven experience in project management and client engagement
- Strong understanding of stormwater design, regulations, and permitting
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Business development experience (preference)
- Experience working across the Southeast

Salary : $130,000 - $180,000
